West OZ DX
The group is an affiliation of radio amateurs, mainly from Western Australia, and interested in working from portable amateur radio stations as part of IOTA and lighthouse activation in particular, but also participating in field day events and emergency operations.
Members of the group have activated the IOTA groups OC-071, OC-234, OC243, OC266, OC-206, OC-193, OC-164, and OC-211. Short stories and photos from each activation are included in the IOTA pages. There are many IOTA's off the Western Australian coast, and we are steadily working towards operating from as many as is possible.
